Ipswich is Queensland 's oldest provincial city with numerous turn-of-the-century architecture and classic "Queenslander" homes in Qld. The Valleys of the Scenic Rim’s geography and climate are ideal for ballooning – they provide a fantastic situation where passengers can enjoy magnificent views of this diverse region.

Meeting times varies throughout the year as it is dependant on sunrise. Upon booking your balloon flight, you will receive a letter of confirmation stating the actual meeting time of the day.

Launch site will vary dependant on wind speed & direction of the day – thus allowing city – country or country – city flight to be undertaken.
Safety is our first concern and priority for our clients, passenger and staff . If weather conditions are unsuitable to fly, Floating Images reserves the right to cancel a flight. You may simply choose to either reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
Champagne Restaurant Breakfast & Flight certificate
Weekdays, Weekends and public holidays a hot cooked and continental breakfast is available at the Country Comfort Motor Inn’s 4 star restaurant, on South Station Road, Ipswich. Your pilot will present your personalised commemorative flight certificate to conclude the morning's activity.
What to Bring & Wear
We recommend comfortable layers of outdoor clothing to match the season, a hat, sunglasses and sturdy shoes for the morning dew. Please don’t forget to bring a camera / video to capture this wonderful experience. (These items are your responsibility at all times.) Bring plenty of film and charged batteries.
