Just want a hot air balloon flight for your own special occasion or reunion with family and/or friends?
Perhaps your flight will include a wedding or commitment ceremony, a special family reunion, anniversary, birthday, or any special occasion that you may only wish to share the experience with those of whom you choose. For these special times, you may want to consider a Floating Images Exclusive Balloon Flight.
You can hire one of our hot air balloons, including pilot and crew, for your exclusive use with your invited guests. The balloon will be reserved solely for your use.
We have balloons that can take either 2 – 5 people, or 6 – 10 people. The 5 passenger balloon is ideal for just 2, or maybe 4/ 5 friends and family. Or you may wish to hire out the larger balloon that comfortably carries up to 10 of your family or friends, personal, social or corporate groups.
Because you have hired the balloon exclusively, we can tailor the flight program especially for you. It may be possible to take off or land at a specific location or to fly over a particular area.
Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights have already flown our balloons over Dalby, Oakey, Brookstead, Allora, Warwick, Boonah, Lowood, Esk, Grandchester, Gympie and Bundaberg.

As part of the ballooning experience, you and your group can assist the balloon crew prepare the balloon for flight. Once aboard the wicker basket, your flight for approx 1 hour, encompassing spectacular views and breathtaking scenery, with the gentle breezes 1,500 – 2,000 feet above your region. The launch is so gentle you will not even realise you have left the ground. This is the most amazing way to see your region.
Floating Images has a remote control in-flight camera, suspended from the balloon envelope, enabling us to take pictures before, during and after the flight, which will be supplied to you on CD, included in the price. The pictures will be downloaded onto our laptop computer, for viewing during breakfast.
After your flight, when your feet find their way back to earth, the crew will meet you, pack up the balloon and equipment and take you back to our nominated restaurant for breakfast based on where we fly, or alternatively you can arrange your own after flight breakfast gathering. During the breakfast, your personalised commemorative flight certificates are presented.
The whole ballooning program may take 3 – 4 hours, with some wonderful memories of a very special occasion to last a lifetime.
