Can you envision anything more thrilling or romantic than sharing your wedding vows high in the sky – as you become husband and wife? What better way to celebrate your new life together than at the beginning of a new day?
A hot air balloon wedding at sunrise is the perfect backdrop to your ceremony.
Hot air ballooning in the Scenic Rim and Ipswich region takes place as the new day is beginning. The air is stable and the winds are calm, ensuring a tranquil hot air balloon flight.
Your special wedding day can be a traditional style, casual wedding or something different. The balloon is exclusively yours. You choose the day, the numbers, the place, the marriage celebrant, the photographer, and if you wish the reception venue after the flight.
How your special day will unfold:
- In general we meet our passengers at the nominated meeting point at Limestone Park, Ipswich, just before sunrise. Otherwise we can meet your wedding party at a suitable, pre – arranged meeting/launch site within our flight region. Your own property perhaps!
- The actual wedding ceremony usually takes place whilst in flight, exchanging vows with views of Ipswich and the Scenic Rim gently unfolding before your eyes.
- Once we have landed, we then return for your champagne breakfast reception at our nominated breakfast venue where additional guests are more than welcome to join you in celebrations after the flight for an additional cost, or you can arrange your own reception venue.
We fly almost every day, subject to the weather being suitable. Ballooning is a weather dependant activity and if it is raining or too windy we are unable to fly. You need to take this into account when planning a balloon wedding ceremony. If the weather is not safe for flight, you can decide if you want to reschedule the flight and wedding for another date, or if you prefer to keep the date for your wedding, the wedding may be performed on the ground without the balloon.
We’ll do everything we can to make your special day, using a hot air balloon, the very best it can be.
